My Process

My artistic process is one built on experimentation. Rarely am I ever tied to one idea when I sit down to illustrate. My process often begins with abstract exercises and loose, gestural rough sketches. Once I’ve settled on a pose I like, I block in values, select a color palette, and finally begin to render. Depending on the complexity, this process may take anywhere from hours to days.
